ICASA 2011: Power to the women - writes Luisa Orza from Addis

The Women’s Networking Zone at ICASA 2011 was opened yesterday to loud ululations and passionate chanting of “Viva! – Viva!” “Amandla! (Power!) – Awethu! (It is ours!)” Women leaders, including women living with HIV, young women, and high level leaders from all over Africa, gathered to share, celebrate, and call for a “New Beijing” at ICASA 2011.
