Management

Anita Sandstrom: Executive Director, former Head of the Swedish-Norwegian HIV/AIDS Team for Africa, based in Lusaka, Zambia, prior to this she worked in  research and research training, in Sweden and in a number of countries in Africa.

Anita is associate Professor in epidemiology and public health. She holds a doctorate in Medical Science (Epidemiology).

Dennis Mulenga: Director: Finance and Administration, former Deputy Director of Audits in the office of the Director General in Zambia. He also worked for CARE International as Head Office Accountant. He is a Chartered Accountant with ACCA. He also holds a B Accountancy Degree and a Cert in Internal Auditing.   

Felicitas Chiganze: Deputy Executive Director, former Deputy National Coordinator/ Research Associate for Women and Law in Southern Africa, Development Officer for CIDA, and Under Secretary for Women's Affairs in the Ministry of community, Co-operative Development and Women's Affairs, Zimbabwe.

Felicitas holds an MBA Degree, a Post Grad Diploma in Women's Law, a Post Graduate Diploma in Development Economics and a BA Degree in Political Science & History plus a Concurrent Diploma in Education.

Hester Musandu: Deputy Executive Director (Programmes), former Research and Market Development Regional Director for the initiate for Development and Equity in African Agriculture and Divisional head of marketing at Geddes Ltd. Zimbabwe.

Hester holds an MBA Degree,  a BTech Degree in Biology & Biochemistry, and a Post Grad Dip in Management Studies.

 

Programmes

Allan Mushonga: Programme Officer: Communications & Publications. Formerly a lecturer at the University of Zimbabwe and a Research Fellow with the Southern African Political and Economic Series Trust (SAPES). Allan holds a BSc Hons (Sociology and Social Policy) and a BA Degree in English and Sociology & Social Anthropology.

Ayanda Nqeketo: Programme Officer: Monitoring & Evaluation. Ayanda joined SAT from Human Science Research Council where he worked as a Researcher. He holds a Masters Degree (Anthropology), Hons and a BA Degree (Soc., Anthropology & History).

Bright Phiri: Communications & Publications Coordinator. Formerly Regional Advisor: Information & Communications for the Swedish / Norwegian HIV/AIDS team for Africa. Bright holds an MA  and Hons Degree  in culture and media studies and  BA Degree in Mass Communication.

Chantal Camposreal: Programme Assistant. Before joining SAT, Chantal worked for the Development Bank of South Africa (DBSA) as Administrator & Personal Assistant. During her stay at DBSA, she enrolled for a Bookkeeping course which she completed in 2006.

Gareth Coats: School Without Walls Coordinator. Formerly Regional HIV and AIDS Project Leader for Project Support Group South Africa. Gareth holds a BA Degree (Psychology).  

Lindiwe Dladla: Programme Officer: School Without Walls. Formerly Regional Coordinator for National Emergency Response Council on HIV/AIDS. Lindiwe holds a BSc Degree (Home Economics) and a Dip (Home Ec).

 

Information Technology

Bongani Sibanyoni: Management Information Systems (MIS) Technical Officer. Bongani joined SAT from SoReal Technology Solutions where he held a position of Network Administrator. He has a National Dip in IT.

Zvikomborero Murahwi: MIS Coordinator. Zviko joined SAT from University of Zimbabwe where he was ICT Projects Manager responsible for Library Information Systems. He holds a BSc Degree in Computing Science & Mathematics.

Jarred Oriwa: IT officer, seconded from VSO

 

Finance and Administration

Bernadette Kalu: Coordinator, Finance, she holds a B commerce accounting. Before joining SAT, Bernadette worked for a regional airline as an accountant for three years.

Elizabeth Akinyi:    Accounts Officer. Elizabeth joined SAT from Interair South Africa where she worked as Accountant. Elizabeth completed courses in Tours & Travelling and various computer packages.

Lucas Mafokaduba:            Driver / Messenger. Lucas previously held driving jobs at Brightpoint SA and Eastern Metropolitan Substructure Council (EMSS). LUCAS obtained a Senior Certificate (Matric) in 1996.

Lydiah Nyangoni:   Regional Financial Monitoring Officer. Before joining SAT, Lydiah was a Consultant responsible for Financial Analysis and Management training for Govt Parastatals and NGOs. She holds a BTech Hons (Accountancy).

Mphathi Nhlapo:     Human Resources & Admin Coordinator. Formerly HR Manager for Cobra Watertech. He has a HR Management Dip, Advanced HR Management Dip and Marketing Dip.

Nobuhle Mhlanga:  Executive Assistant. Nobuhle joined SAT from Eskom where she held the position of Secretary to Human Resource Accounts Manager. After matriculating Nobuhle obtained a Secretarial Diploma.

Sarah Alangi:         Receptionist. Sarah joined SAT from Interair where she held a position of Receptionist and Office Support. After matriculating she completed a course in Aesthetics. She also completed a course in Office Administration.

Thembi Khumalo:  Housekeeper. Thembi joined SAT from Urban Real Estate where she worked.
