SAT Botswana

The southern African AIDS Trust opened a new country office in Botswana in 2010. Through support from Sida, SAT has been tasked with specific goals over a fixed three year period in strengthening civil society capacity on HIV in Botswana. This new model incorporates all of the strengths of SAT operations with country offices, grantees and network partners, and the idea of planning to achieve rapid capacity gains within a given time frame and with pre-planned programme exit strategies will stimulate SATs thinking in the longer term.
