Acomuza (Community Association of women in Zavala)
EC, PEC

Has impowered women in Zavala District through economic activities such as salt mining, agriculture and fishing. Over the years, the organisation has also successfully mainstreamed HIV and AIDS in its economic projects and community development.

ADS, Association for Sustainable Development
PEC, HC, CO CABA, CABA(S), O, PES, AD

Promoted the mainstreaming of HIV in the agricultural sector linking HIV/AIDS to food security; mobilised the community to systematically address issues of HIV and AIDS.

Ahitipaluxene
PEC, HC, AD

Association of women living withHIV and AIDS, that undertakes, HIV education and community mitigation activities, advocates for non discriminatory policies and facilitates sharing experience on HIV and AIDS.

Ajudeco - Youth Community Organisation
PEC, HC, CO CABA, CABA(S), O, PES, AD , EC

Youth community association, 70 Kms from Inharrime district, established in 2002. Ajudeco grow vegetables and keep bees as income generation activity, which supports PLWHA and CABA financially and with nutrition, they also provide counselling and home-based care. There are 40 members with a president, deputy president, secretary, bookkepeerand fiscal council all elected by the community.

Arrepacho, Agrarian Association for the Reduction of Absolute
PEC, HC, CO, CABA, CABA(S), O, PES, AD

Arrepacho is now a registered organisation; Promoted the mainstreaming of HIV in the agricultural sector linking HIV/AIDS to food security; mobilised the community to systematically address issues of HIV/AIDS.
