Addressed issues of HIV related stigma and discrimination, and the challenges of providing care and support for PLWHA in their communities. |

Kuba Lusa provided comprehensive HIV and AIDS interventions in the context of traditional leadership orientation. The partner was established and run through the Royal Establishment of Senior Chief Kasempa and through this project, the partner has raised awareness and triggered interest to challenge and address traditional issues and practices (such as spouse inheritance; circumcision of several/many persons using one knife) that provide pre-disposure to HIV infection. Through outreach activities the project has been an effective channel of getting messages across to the community. |
